I enjoy sharing my love of music and have a positive, fun and very flexible approach. This is reflected in the positive feedback I receive from parents about my lessons. I can help you play just for pleasure or prepare for exams, whether you want to play classical or other genres of music. I tailor my approach to suit each individual and their goals. I am able to work with less confident readers and believe in developing reading skills so that they become second nature, as it makes learning pieces so easy. For younger pupils, I incorporate games into the lessons.
I have a proven track record of exam success with many students achieving merits and distinctions. I have experience with SQA National 5 and Higher, Associated Board, Trinity and Rock School exams, and also teach theory. Coaching for the grade 5 theory exam also offered.
