The Circle of Fifths Odyssey is one of my favourite courses because it brings together scales, improvisation and chords to move your students towards real understanding of what keys are and how they work.
But before you jump into the course I need you to promise me something.
Promise that you will put these ideas into action straight away. Don't wait 'til you finish the course. Don't plan to do it next year.
Do it now.
Improvisation can be scary if you haven't done it before, or even if you just haven't done it in this way. But if you follow the plans it really doesn't need to be difficult.
If you feel butterflies in your stomach as you get going know that that's a sign you're growing and trying something new and exciting.
