Are you doing two things where you could combine them into one? If your student needs to move but they also need to practice their piece, they could run back to the piano between game turns to play it again. If they need to listen to a new song, they could dance the time signature pattern at the same time.

Combining activities like this might make the time for one thing take longer, but it will be shorter than the two activities if they were done back-to-back instead of intermingled.
