As much as possible, I try to avoid “teacher talk” in my lessons. There are some things that need to be explained with words and whiteboard drawings…but more often than not, these are the same for every student. This means I can record a video of my explanation that students can watch in their practice time and ask me about at the next lesson.

Worried your students won’t watch the videos? If they haven’t watched it at home, you can use these as an “unwait” activity, too, so they don’t go to waste!
